Sowder or (Mike) our founder brings to Air Concept Solutions, LLC. over 25 years of experience in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. Mike's sincere interest in the industry has resulted in a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of proper installation and code requirements.
Professionally Certified
Mike started out and achieved certifications for duct design and fabrication in 1988 and progressing into residential installations, troubleshooting and service.Completing Technical School in 1999 for Commercial Refrigeration Technology and eventually achieving his North American Technician of Excellence (NATE) certification for Heat Pump Service, Mike is a strong believer in continuing education.
Experienced and Licensed
In addition to his own achievements, Mike is an outstanding instructor and loves to train and help others as they are coming up through the industry, including being a proctor for several industry-related exam programs such as for The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and North American Technician of Excellence(NATE).
Beyond traditional HVAC, he has educated himself on the Principles of Building Science and Indoor Air Quality and holds the credential of Healthy Air Specialist. Mike is also a Gold Member with the South Carolina Association of Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors (SCAHACC). He is a stronger believer in only employing licensed contractors and staying a head of the times by going green.
Mike’s vast knowledge and experience, and his abilities to solve problems, assures quality and provides excellent customer service and comfort for you and all of your families individual needs here in the Low Country Area.
